Saint Louis, MO, August 19, 2012 – Plush Lounge, one of the hippest, most dynamic event spaces in midtown is the destination for lovers of animals and art alike on Friday, November 16th for Gateway Pet Guardians’ Soiree for Strays Gala Art Show and Auction.
The event, beginning at 7:00 p.m., will showcase works from local artists exhibiting their interpretations of animals that have been rescued by the organization. Event organizers are currently holding an open call for artist submissions in all mediums including performance art, canvas, sculpture, poetry, video, food and any other creative medium. Tickets for the event are $40 per person and can be purchased via Gateway Pet Guardians’ website or at the door before the event. All proceeds benefit the organization’s animal shelter that rescues, rehabilitates, and re-adopts stray animals from the St. Louis area.
