A blast of cold air known as the polar vortex crept through the Metro East over the past few days, with temps dipping to -2 degrees (and feeling like -20). These frigid temps were dangerous for both pets and their people, and Gateway Pet Guardians jumped into action to deliver the supplies necessary to help pet owners weather the storm. Volunteers and staff spent hours in the field, delivering supplies and encouraging pet owners to bring their pets indoors. We are thrilled to share our impact–

Armed with the appropriate tools, residents were eager to bring their pets inside. Thanks to our supporters for donating over the past few days–your support saved lives!
