Zeus after he had his eye removed

Nine-month-old Zeus found himself in extreme pain after he hurt his eye wrestling with one of the other dogs in his home. It began as a small scratch on his eye, but the eye quickly ruptured and required emergency veterinary care. Zeus’s dad gave us a call because he had our card on his refrigerator from a previous visit, and we are so happy that he did! We were able to help his dad get the vet care he needed to help Zeus during this difficult time.

We scheduled an appointment at Hillside Animal Hospital, and the vet determined his eye was beyond repair and would need to be removed. We stood by Zeus and his dad the entire time, providing transportation to and from the vet and helping him through the whole process. We are happy to report that Zeus is recovering well, without the pain in his eye! He is also going to be neutered through our Spay/Neuter Program once he is healthy enough for surgery.
