Here’s a list of upcoming events in the St. Louis metro area that are pet-friendly! Everybody loves doing things with their dogs . Also be sure to check out our calendar of events.

JULY:
July 3 (through OCT):  Yappy Hour @ The Boat House in Forest Park
Time: 4:00-7:00PM
Cost: $5.00

Yappy Hours take place on the 1st Wednesday of the month, May through October. Just stop by the Boathouse Tented North Patio from 5 to 7 p.m. with your pooch and enjoy half-priced yappetizers and drink specials. Participating dogs should be friendly, sociable and on a leash. A $5 entry fee will benefit Forest Park Forever for park beautification

July 13: Dog Dining @ Three Dog Bakery in Chesterfield
Time: 11:30AM
Cost: $20 Per Dog

Just call Three Dog Bakery at 636-527-3DOG(3364) to make a reservation for your pup and tell them how many people will accompany the pup. The cost is $20 per dog with the net proceeds benefiting the Three Dog Foundation for abused and neglected dogs. They ask that you pay for the pup’s meal in advance so they know how many meals to prepare. They will take complete care of the dogs, including hand preparation of a multi-course meal. You just order off the restaurant’s menu. They’ll serve the dogs their courses while you eat yours. You pay the restaurant directly for your meal.

July 18:  Yappy Hour @ Laumeier Sculpture Park
Time: 6:00-8:00PM
Cost: FREE

Bring your dog to Laumeier for an evening of fun! This special event is designed for you and your four-legged friends. Visit vendor booths and enjoy fun competitions, demonstrations and live music. Dinner and drinks will be available for purchase. Dog sitters will be on hand to allow human visitors to view the indoor exhibition, The River Between Us.

July 20: Ice Cream Social & Pool Party @ Treats Unleashed in Chesterfield
Time: 11:00 – 3:00PM
Cost: FREE

Plan on lots of fun at the original TU location! Make your own “pup approved” sundae and meet some new friends! Watch for more exciting details as they become available!

July 20: Petapalooza @ Purina Farms
Time: 11:00 – 4:00PM
Cost: FREE

Fresh 102.5, KMOX, Y98, and Purina Farms present Pet-APalooza – a family and pet-friendly event.  Bring your pet and listen to live music, eat, shop and enjoy a number of
exhibitions including a “Pet Photo Booth”, Canine Agility Course, and Kids Area, plus many more attractions.  Visit with over 20 different animal rescue and adoption groups.
Admission is free.  All pets must be registered and current on shots and must remain on leash at all times.  For more information, visit y98.com.

July 22: Paddle with Your Pooch Boat Race @ Boat House Forest Park

Time: 12:45-4:00PM
Cost: $40

It’s time to bring your furry friends & test your paddling prowess on the Post-Dispatch Lake in Forest Park. The 10th annual Paddle with your Pooch dog-andmaster boat race will be held at the Boathouse on Sunday, July 21, 2013. There will be 3 heats, followed by a final race. Each heat is limited to 25 boats, so sign up now to reserve your spot. Maximum occupancy per paddleboat is 3 humans & 1 dog.

July 25: Yappy Hour @ West Frisco Park, Eureka

Time: 6:00-7:30PM
Cost: FREE

Join the Eureka Parks and Recreation Department with you four-legged friends for a YAPPY HOUR in the park!  FREE admission!  Suggested donation of one canned good per person.  Live entertainment will be provided.  Some snacks will be provided for dogs & humans and coolers are welcome (no glass bottles please).  Food and beverages can also be purchased from the local businesses or feel free to bring your own.  West Frisco Park is located behind the Eureka Wine House. Picnic dinners are available for purchase at all Yappy Hour events.  Please make your dinner reservation by the Monday prior to each event.  For more information, contact the Eureka Parks and Recreation Department at (636) 938-6775 or by email at parks@eureka.mo.us

July 28: Bark in the Park Night @ River City Rascals

Time: 7:00PM
Cost: Price of tickets

The first 500 fans will receive a bobblehead of the former Cardinals manager. It’s also Bark in the Park night, where fans can bring their dogs to the game.
