What do you call a beautiful afternoon of sunshine, ice cream and some generous, dog-lovin’ humans? A Giving Guardians Ice Cream Social… our first ever event held exclusively for our monthly donors, our “Giving Guardians”.
We had the opportunity to meet and visit with each other while enjoying some cold, albeit melting, ice cream with toppers and syrup and whipped cream. We had some great embroidered hats and tote bags for attendance prizes and each Giving Guardian took home a little “swag bag” with their own exclusive GPG/Giving Guardians stainless steel tumbler. It was just a small gesture of our appreciation for the dedication and generosity of this amazing group.
So what is a Giving Guardian? A Giving Guardian is an individual donor who has taken the step to partner with GPG on an ongoing, monthly basis to provide consistent funding that GPG can count on every month to continue its mission to save the homeless pets of the Metro East.
Did you know that $5 provides an enrichment toy for a shelter dog? And that $10 provides a microchip or 2 months of heartworm preventative? $1,000 Challenge
