Meet GPG’s pretty woman, Cersei! And the good news she isn’t just a pretty face! This sweet, affectionate girl is crate trained, dog friendly and looking for her forever family!
Although Cersei is beautiful and loving, she was rescued from the street. So like Julia Roberts from “Pretty Woman”, the street has made her uncertain about the good life. Cersei is still very shy and is considered a “flight risk” (think door dasher and fence jumper).
Because of her shy and skittish behavior, Cersei’s new family would need to be patient and willing to work with her to come out of her shell. She is very affectionate and loves to give kisses. She’s been attending doggie daycare a few times a week and this has been helping her shyness with new situations.
Cersei is learning new things everyday, but she is still working on house training (she lived on the streets, what can we say?). Also, since she has a tendency to make a run for it, she would probably do best in a family without small children and would need to be leashed while in a yard or taken for walks until she learns to stay put. Cersei would definitely benefit from having a social dog in her new home to help “show her the way”.
