Denbo

A name meaning “stability.”

Denbo is one of Gateway Pet Guardians’ adoptable dogs in St. Louis. He is a four-year-old German Shepherd and Lab mix.

GPG rescued Denbo with multiple fractures in his hind leg which required surgery. He is currently taking time to recover and learn about life in a home with his foster family. The name “Denbo” means stability – which is what Denbo longs for most. He would love a home to recover, learn and to be loved in.

Denbo loves to be outside in the sun. He adores anything soft that he can lay on and watch the world around him – he hasn’t seen life like this before, so he is observing and learning how he can participate.

This GPG pup is both crate trained and potty trained. Oh, and the best way to win his love? Bring him a Braunsweiger – they’re his favorite.
