Meet Moon, An Adoptable Dog in St. Louis

This week, we’re excited to introduce Moon as our Monday Adoptable Dog. He is quite the little survivor! While Gateway Pet Guardians was out delivering dog houses to homes in East Saint Louis, a family informed us that there was a puppy and a mother in an abandoned home. When we went to check it out, we found Moon. Unfortunately, his litter mates were not as lucky. He was the lone survivor.

Moon is a Pit Bull Terrier mix. He is twelve weeks old right now. He is neutered and is up-to-date on his shots.

Just look at that face! Moon is a sweetheart and loves cuddling. One of his favorite hobbies is to nap in his foster mom’s arms. He loves being held in general! He’s a puppy, so he likes to play a lot. He enjoys wrestling. He is fantastic with being around people. He went to an event over the weekend where there were children and other puppies and he did well with them. He gets along well with other dogs and even gets along with cats. He can be a little shy and nervous initially, but is playful when he warms up.

Isn’t that face and those ears the cutest! Moon is a wonderful puppy who is in need of a forever home. He is the perfect puppy to integrate with a family that may already have children and other pets.  If you are interested in taking this adorable puppy home, you can learn about our adoption process and fill out an application for Moon: Pet Adoption Policies & Application. You may also email us at adopt@gatewaypets.com for more information.
