The Gateway Pet Guardians Community Outreach Team has been out full force for the past week, connecting with pet owners to make sure they have the resources they need to care for their pets! We distributed crates to families who wanted to bring their dogs inside and doghouses and straw to the families who are not able to bring their pets inside. 5 On Your Side joined us as we distributed resources to families last week during the snow storm.
This snow came early, and we have almost depleted our stock of doghouses and winter is just starting! If you have a doghouse or large crate that you would like to donate, they can be dropped off at our emergency shelter located at 5321 Manchester Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110.
