Exciting news from over the weekend! Some of you – especially those who have ridden along with us – know that we’ve been keeping an eye on Dory for a few months now. She’s been hobbling around East St. Louis on three legs because her back leg was injured. She was also somewhat feral and difficult to capture.
Dory was finally rescued this weekend and will be heading in for a look at her leg as soon as she has had some time to adjust at the shelter.
We also brought in two new puppies – Sophie and Dallis. Sophie was surrendered during one of our spay/neuter clinics for East St. Louis and Dallis came to us by way of Four Paws Animal Hospital in O’Fallon, IL. These pups will be up for adoption very soon, so keep checking back to www.gatewaypets.com/adopt for their listings!
