Meet Julliard, an adoptable dog in St. Louis! Julliard is a special pup that is ready to give a whole lot of love and goofy smiles to a forever family. This sweet, beautiful girl absolutely loves meeting new people and is always looking for a good cuddle.
Julliard was rescued when her future foster mom went out to feed two other stray dogs that she knew. Julliard was right there with the other two dogs and she jumped right into her foster mom’s car. After one failed attempt to get her back out of the car, her cute smile quickly won her foster mom’s heart and there was no second attempt to get her out in the pouring rain. Instead, Julliard had found herself a foster home!
At just over a year old, Julliard weighs about 45 pounds and is likely a Boxer/Terrier/Pit mix. She is spayed, up to date with her shots, crate trained, and is becoming house trained. She is a quick learner, especially when a yummy treat is at stake. While she does learn quickly, she still is learning to play and sometimes gets a bit too excited. So for right now it might be best that she goes to a home without small children. Cats also make her very excited and it would probably be best for her to not share a home with one.
It is clear that Julliard loves life, getting attention, and wants to share her big, happy smile with anyone that will give her a little affection. She loves to snuggle her way into her foster parents’ bed at night, and after a good night’s sleep the first thing on the agenda every morning (after breakfast of course) is to play with her rope toy. The rest of her day is filled with cuddling on the couch, wrestling with her foster dad, goofing around and playfully barking at her foster mom when she wants to eat, and she never misses the opportunity for a good walk or car ride. Julliard might give the occasional tug on her leash while out on a walk, but it is only because she wants to be friends with another dog. She does great with a harness on while walking.
